TOURIST CAMPING RESORT - KACHURA, SKARDU (N.A.) 

Adventure Travel Tourist Camping Resort located in the beautiful Kachura valley of Skardu offers you a new dimension in holiday making close to the nature. Situated only twenty minutes drive from Skardu airport it takes less than one and a half hour of total travel time from Islamabad airport to reach this secluded paradise.

ACCOMMODATION is provided in simple but sturdy tents pitched in the natural garden set up of the resort with bubbling crystal clear springs and wild flowers under the fruit trees. The magnificent blue waters of the lower Kachura lake are right below the resort. There is a breathtaking view of the lake, entire Skardu valley and the snow capped jagged peaks right from each tent door.
SWISS CHALET style hut houses two ground floor sitting lounges and a magnificent upper story lounge with the most spectacular view from its balcony.
SELF SERVICE open kitchen with a huge wood burning bread oven, grill and stoves offer you an opportunity to cook a special treat for yourself and your family.   
Our expert cook serves DELICIOUS FULL BOARD MEALS in buffet style. 
The three hot meals include popular continental and Pakistani dishes.   
CAMP FIRE is arranged each night for you to enjoy the cool evenings that get chilly even during the summer months.   
NATURAL ROCK POOL fed by natural springs issuing in the camping grounds houses a colorful variety of local fish and trout.  
MAGNIFICIENT HIKES starting right outside the gate of the resort take you to rushing White Water River, hidden Upper Kachura lake and peaceful centuries old Thock village with a unique lifestyle far from the twenty first century hustle. All these are within forty minutes easy walk from the resort.   
TROUT FISHING is possible at Upper Kachura lake where fishing gear is also available on rent.
THRILLING JEEP SAFARIS take you on exciting roads to remote valleys and lakes. A variety of jeep excursions can be planned from the resort. Jeeps are available for hire at reasonable costs at the resort.

FLIGHTS TO SKARDU
There is a daily Boeing 737 flight to Skardu also known as the Little Tibet.

This is the most magnificent mountain flight in the world and offers you wonderful glimpse of the western Himalayas, Hindu Kush and Karakoram mountains. The plane passes right next to the 9^th highest mountain in the world called Nanga Parbat which is 8126m high. Cost of this flight changes slightly and therefore you are advised to call us to find out the current airfare.  

Please note that like all mountain flights around the world this flight can

also get delayed or cancelled due to bad weather so plan your holidays with some flexibility.

BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY IN ADVANCE
Keeping in mind the busy tourist season from early May until end of September you are advised to book your holiday as early as possible. To avoid crowding and ensure space around each tent we limit the number of tents that can be accommodated at the camping resort at any one time.

You can book the entire resort in advance providing there are no other bookings made for that date earlier. Book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
